Glorious guild leader Flang in front of a guild creation office in Stormwind.
The Reichsmarschall of [Luftwaffe] Flang was generous enough to give us a short interview about the first days of the guild.
Reporter: What did you feel while creating the guild?
Flang: Well honestly I felt torn. First of all I was not so sure about renaming the guild, since I was afraid to disgrace the memory of my predecessor. And at the same time I was quite excited about turning a new page in the chapters of our glorious order.
Reporter: Does the current guild name have anything to do with air force?
Flang: That is very perceptive of you, I'm glad you asked. Indeed the guild name means that air power is very important to us. I dream that one day I will lead an air strike against Orgrimmar and wipe out the Horde. Even as we speak our elite paladin, priest and mage air-born divisions are renown through-out the Alliance.
Reporter: Tell us about the current ranking system of the guild.
Flang: Well the ranking system is based on the German air force ranks in WW2, with more than a half of them excluded since it would be just too complicated with all of them present. Honestly, I'm still not sure about it and I promise you that there will be changes to it for a while, until I am satisfied and it's good enough. I will send you a list of currently available ranks in the near future.
Reporter: What about the guild rules? When will they be announced?
Flang: Well there are a few basic rules available right now, that are mainly based on the simple concept of being friendly with one another and obeying your superiors. But I am planning to do a detailed version and creating a solid and permanent list of rules in the near future. That I will mail you as well.
Reporter: Now that we got the official stuff out of the way, please tell our readers about your work day. I'm sure many would love to find out what keeps you busy.
Flang: I'm sure they would. Well basically, I start the day by checking the treasury for any unauthorized disturbances and if everything is ok (which usually is the case) I visit the local Auction House for personal business, maintaining mine own flow of profit. A true leader always makes sure to have back-up funds just in case the guild needs some.
After that I raid the usual hideouts of renown bosses, who I defeat looting their corpses every single day. I never do understand how they keep reviving but the repeated profit from their deaths does keep my mind at ease more or less.
And obviously, I end the day with spreading the name of my glorious order in various places, be it in battles against horde, showing off my epic skills to my fellow Alliance or in the city streets where I preach about the glory that is [Luftwaffe].
Now if something is amiss in the treasury on the other hand, I spend half of the day tracking the perpetrators and smoking them out of their hiding place, restoring order in the guild and giving the appropriate punishments if they are needed. The last traitor to steal from the guild got exiled from our order and got his leg's broken for running away from me.
Reporter: Magnificent, simply magnificent. Thank you truly for your time on this, it's been a pleasure.
Flang: Likewise.
