[Luftwaffe] ranking system
Reichsmarschall Flang posing near a vanquished Horde player
Hello once again my dear readers, today I am pleased to present you the current ranking system of the glorious guild [Luftwaffe] that the magnificent leader Flang has been kind enough to send me. Not only that, but he also blessed us with the new and simply glorious rules that will be posted soon enough.
The ranking system is explained through comparison with the American air force rankings and is created while looking at the German air force rankings in WW2. As our glorious leader Flang said quote - "I just hope the remains of the German regime at the time will not be offended by this modest desecration of their heritage and wont decide to hunt me down. Well even if they did, not like anyone can stand up to my awesomness."
Reichsmarschall - no equivalents in the USA Air force. The highest rank and currently stands for the Guildmaster of [Luftwaffe]
Generalfeldmarschall - General (5 star). Serves as the right hand in the guild, with almost equal permissions and abilities as the Guildmaster.
Generalleutnant - Major General. One of the highest officers in the guild and has almost all of the abilities and permissions as the Generalfeldmarschall, but cannot create events or modify the guild info. As well as reduced number of stacks and gold drawn from the treasury.
Oberst - Colonel. A lesser officer who still has plenty of permissions and is able to draw lesser amounts of stacks and money from the treasury. But is unable to alter any guild info except the public and officer note.
Major - Major. A senior member who is on his way to becoming one of the officers and is already able to communicate with them in a private guild chat. He is unable to alter any guild info including the officer notes, but has been given the permission to alter the public note. Still has the ability to draw a few items and gold coins from the treasury per day.
Oberleutnant - First Lieutenant. A veteran member who has been given the abilities of inviting new members to the guild and promoting some, while only given the permission to withdraw from the first two treasury tabs.
Oberfeldwebel - Master Sergeant. A freshly appointed veteran member, who is being given the opportunity to climb to higher ranks and is currently in the testing period, to find out if he has what it takes to lead and climb further up the steps of leadership of the glorious guild [Luftwaffe]. He's able to invite new members and view treasury tabs as well as deposit in the first two. Has the ability to get direct orders from the officer chat.
Unteroffizier - Staff Sergeant. A higher ranking freshman, who usually is the first one to lead a five man squad, able to view all the treasury tabs and invite new members. He is eligible in becoming an Oberfeldwebel if considered worthy.
Obergefreiter - Corporal. A minor division leader who, if no higher ranking officer is present will have the ability to lead a five man squad. Currently is able to invite new promising members if willing.
Flieger - Private. A fresh new member serving mostly as cannon fodder in the battlefield. Promising ones are picked out to ascend the steps of our glorious ranking system.
